OUR APPROACH
Farming is the only industry that has the ability to generate the 3 basic needs of life. It can clean the air through carbon sequestration, it can hold and clean more water reducing flooding and protecting from drought, and it can produce amazing quality food for us to become healthier.
This is why we are a family farm on a mission to change the future on our farm, we believe that there is a future for farmers, that we are able to run a successful business which helps serve our local community. We have started to look at our farm as a whole enterprise rather than fighting the fires that arise because our focus is too narrow. So with the help of new technology, advances in science and some good old fashioned faith we started making changes. We became part of The Soil Carbon Project in 2017. This started to open our eyes up to the idea that if we look after our soils, which is the substance which all life pertains from, then we could improve the health of our environment, sequestering carbon, encouraging more farmland birds, insects and wild life, whilst increasing the quality of meat that we produce.
